The Women’s Leadership & Adventure Summit is the perfect time to try a new outdoor adventure in a comfortable environment.  Summit participants will have the once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to join our professional female athletes for any of the following activities:

Rock climbing – Beginner/Intermediate
Build your confidence at the crag and learn the basics of climbing and belaying at the American Mountaineering Center.

Rock climbing – Advanced
Improve your technique while climbing Cat Slab (5.6 – 5.10 d) in Clear Creek Canyon.  Practice mock leading and learn technique options for slab climbing, overhangs, and lie backs.  Must know how to belay to join this activity.

Slacklining combines the individual challenge of walking a tightened rope with the group dynamics of spotting by teammates to create a safe physical challenge. Slacklining is a great cross trainer for any sport with the ability to increase reaction time through the connection between the mind and the body.

Stand Up Paddleboarding (SUP)
Experience the serene waters of Gravel Pond at Chatfield Reservoir State Park and enjoy the gorgeous views and local wildlife of Colorado.  Learn all the basics to get started paddleboarding: stance, paddling technique, turning, and more.  This peaceful flat-water tour connects paddlers to the natural environment, promoting connection between mind, body, and spirit.

Recharge and refresh while hiking in the beautiful Table Mountain area!  Connect on a deeper level with other women from the conference while enjoying the natural beauty of Colorado.  Learn about the natural history of the area and give trekking poles a try.

Yoga combines deep stretching exercises, meditative breathing techniques and energy awareness training.  Taichi contains the philosophy of ancient Korea and utilizes the internal and external energy centers of the body.  Experience these integrated mind-body training methods in a combined session.
